Is The CALL only for Christians?
The CALL has a section on motivational gifts that is based on scripture and is intended for the “Faith Based Community”. We see this as a benefit not a limitation. We do get requests for a “Secular Version” of the CALL. We are working on future products that will have “Secular” versions of questions and reports dealing with motivational gifts, this does not change our belief that our motives are a gift from a God who loves us.
Are there other limitations I should know about?
The CALL is based on 4 constructs
- Motivational Gifts – based on Romans 12
- Occupational Interests – based on Profiles XT, a product of Profiles International.
- Thinking Styles – based on Profiles XT. a product of Profiles International
- Personality – based on Profiles XT, a product of Profiles International
One of the features of The CALL is a sophisticated link to the O*NET Job Profiles database based on your assessment results. The CALL report does not include your “Motivational Gift Mix” when making this link, instead looking only at the constructs from Profiles XT.
We have addressed this issue with our Supplemental Reports. After much research, we think that your motivational gift mix is one of the most important considerations when considering a career or college major choice. This is one of the reasons we created our supplemental reports.
We rececmmend that you consider purchasing a supplemental report if you want to include your motivational gifts in the O*NET link.
